WATCH BOX OFFICE MOVIES FOR FREE
Watching Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marvel fans probably caught a sly mention to one of the brand's most popular youthful heroes in the center of the movie - specifically in the same way as the establishment of the feel played by Donald Glover. I am, of course, referring to the movie's answer to Miles Morales a.k.a. the extra Spider-Man in the comics... but that actually isn't the on your own Easter Egg aligned to the younger webslinger. Just tolerate a see at the yet below:
What you see above is a yet from the stop credits of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and as mordant out by a Reddit user, the big mask in the background looks a hell of a lot in the same way as the mask worn by Miles Morales in the comics (specifically black in the same way as red web lines). It's probably not any nice of smack that we will see Morales in next Spidey movie, but it is a nice tiny treat for fans to find.
For those unfamiliar in the same way as Miles Morales and the costume he wears, you can catch a peek at it below:
Miles Morales was first introduced into Marvel Comics in 2011 - even if he was part of what was called the Ultimate Universe at the epoch - a universe separate from the "normal" one where most heroes came from (also known as Earth-616). At the time, the Ultimate version of Peter Parker sacrificed his sparkle to keep Aunt May, and Miles stepped up to replace him as extra York's friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man - having in addition to been bitten by a radioactive spider. since then, Earth-616 and the Ultimate Universe have collided and united, meaning that Peter and Miles co-exist.
As for the answer in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Donald Glover plays Aaron Davis, who is an important feel in Miles Morales' life. The movie version of Davis even vaguely references him, noting during an interrogation in the same way as Tom Holand's Spider-Man that he has a nephew who lives in the city (which makes him less good to put crazy powerful weapons upon the street). Because of this, we now know that Miles Morales exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even if obviously he hasn't appeared just yet.
Of course, we will soon be seeing a big screen version of Miles Morales - just not in live-action form. The feel is at the center of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, the blooming movie that will be hitting theaters this December. You can watch the amazing classified ad for the movie below!
