While superhero movies are everywhere, there are certain characters that carry more iconography and legacy. Chief in the midst of them is Batman, as Gotham's Caped Crusader has been portrayed in both live-action and animation. Ben Affleck's is the DCEU's Bruce, debuting only a few years after the completion of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. Affleck's experienced and jaded Bruce Wayne was considered one of the high points of Batman v Superman: introduction of Justice, although DC superfan and director/writer Kevin Smith was hoping Christian Bale would reward to the role. Why? Because Nolan was a producer upon Man of Steel, suitably establishment the possibility happening for a crossover and even a shared universe. As Smith tells it,

And even if Ben Affleck has the end a good job as the character, it's confusing how long he'll save upon the helm after the less than stellar reviews of Batman v Superman, Justice League, and Suicide Squad. We'll just have to wait and see.
