James Mangold's Logan is a lot of things. It's Hugh Jackman's unadulterated exposure to air as Wolverine. It's a hit, R-rated comic cd movie. It's even an ode to the western genre. James Mangold wanted to create something similar to more substance than a good enough appear in movie or a sanitized blockbuster seen in franchises similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DCEU.
